ORNITHOLOGY PROGRAM SAMPLE SCHEDULE

The following schedule is typical for most Hog Island ornithology program days. All of the trips are optional. All of the times below are approximate and weather dependent.

6:00am to 7:00am - Early morning bird hike

7:00am - Breakfast

8:30am to 11:30am - Morning field trip

12:00pm - Lunch

1:30pm to 4:30pm - Afternoon field trip

6:00pm - Dinner

7:15pm - Short topic in Ornithology discussion (e.g. migration, song, courtship, nesting behavior)

8:00pm - Evening program from staff or guest lecturer
